Protocol16 will recommend, and resell, Vipre anti-virus, with anti-spyware capabilities to it’s customers.

“I have used several anti-virus companies over the years, to include Personal and Enterprise level products, and I must say, Vipre is at the top of my list.” said Justin Royce, owner of Protocol16. “Not only is Vipre fast and unobtrusive to computer users, it recently won a VB100 score at the latest anti-virus face off. Finding all 100 random “in the wild” files on the test is a pretty big thing. I’m sure our customers will agree that Vipre is a better solution than others as well.”

Beaverton, OR —Nov. 6, 2009— Protocol16, a computer company focusing on on-site computer repair, has formed a partnership agreement with DriveSavers to provide the best data recovery solution for customers.

Protocol16 currently attempts “simple” drive recovery for customer computers. DriveSavers will be used in extreme situations, like fire, water and crush damage for laptops, desktops and servers. DriveSavers will also be utilized during RAID recovery for servers.

“I am extremely excited to be able to offer this service for our customers.” said Justin Royce, owner of Protocol16. “DriveSavers is at the absolute top of the list when it comes to drive recovery. DriveSavers has the clean room technology to take a scorched and almost unrecognizable hard drive, then get data out of it. In the end, it comes down to saving our customers money while offering the best solution for the customer. Due to the partnership, Protocol16 is able to offer our customers a 10% discount.”

Protocol16 will providing it’s customers with ASUS branded motherboards with an Intel chipset to take advantage of another partnership.

“I’ve used ASUS branded motherboards as well as some of their barebone systems and I couldn’t be happier to partner with them.” said Justin Royce, owner of Protocol16. “This  will allow our company to standardize our offerings for our customers, ultimately saving time and money.”

If customers request a non-ASUS motherboard or one that does not have the require features required, Protocol16 will use another vendor. Customer convenience is a priority with Protocol16.

Beaverton, OR —Sep. 8, 2009— Protocol16, a computer company focusing on on-site support, has formed a partnership agreement with Carbonite to provide the latest automated backup solutions to it’s customers.

Protocol16 will providing it’s customers licenses for Carbonite when it’s technicians are on-site and a backup solution is needed. The technicians will configure Carbonite to allow for automatic off-site backups so that customers may retrieve lost files without additional assistance.

“This partnership allows us to cover our customers automatically since backing up a hard drive is one of the most needed, but most missed, parts of owning a computer.” said Justin Royce, owner of Protocol16. “This  will allow our technicians to setup and install the Carbonite backup solution on customer computers at a lower price, providing the best bang for the buck for the customer. Ultimately, we can save our customers around of 10%.”

Protocol16 is currently carrying licenses of Carbonite for customers. Activation codes are emailed directly to the customer, when needed.

Protocol16 will carry the GeForce line of graphics cards for Desktops and Workstations for both consumer and business customers. Protocol16 entered into the agreement to provide customers with quality graphics cards for new computer systems, replacements for bad cards and upgraded cards for clients.

“NVIDIA has been providing one of a kind graphics over the years, and I’ve personally used them since I built my first computer, except for a very brief stint with another manufacturer. NVIDIA is rock solid, the gamers love them and I’m happy to provide them to our customers.” said Justin Royce, owner of Protocol16. “Due to how NVIDIA allows re-branding of their cards, we’ll carry a mixture of EVGA, BFG, ASUS, XFX, PNY and MSI brands to allow the best buying power for the customer.”

Protocol16 is expected to start carrying a full line of NVIDIA based GeForce cards by Oct 8, 2009, after it’s employees finish the training involved for the GeForce line and stock is delivered from it’s distributor.
